So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
I have many things to be thankful for this week.
First, I am so thankful that we have a Sovereign God who is in control even when the world seems to be spinning out-of-control.
I am so thankful for a warm house on this chilly fall day.
I am thankful for neighbors with beautiful leaves...
Seeing as mine completely skipped turning colors and went straight to falling down.
I'm sure tonight I will be thankful for hats, mittens, and wool blankets as I sit outside in 30 degree weather to watch T's football game!

"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
