Saturday morning I woke up, peeked outside our front window and saw a plastic bag with what appeared to be a flyer or pamphlet in it hanging off our front door.
Mumbling slightly, I went to see what the J-Dubs had left this time (there’s a large Kingdom Hall right up the road from us).
This is what I found:
Slightly surprised but still unconvinced as the Jehovah’s Witnesses have been known to use Bible verses before, I turned it over.
Um… wow. That wasn’t the J-Dubs.
It was so refreshing to wake up and find the gospel stuck to my door – what a blessing! I realize you probably can’t read it, but it was good. Yes, I would have preferred they use the word repent – but our sin nature and need for a Savior is there.
I’m so thankful for whoever was out sharing the gospel with my neighbors Friday night, and for good Gospel tracts.
What a you thankful for this week?
How wonderful to know there are other believers in your neighbourhood!
ReplyDeleteWell that's a change, isn't it? I haven't seen a tract in a long time, but just yesterday I was reading a post about the blogger's husband. He passes out tracts regularly.
ReplyDeletePraising God with you, my friend, for the Gospel!
kudos to them, having the courage to make a bold move for Him.
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting thankful post. God shows up in mysterious ways, no?
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful thing to be thankful for! People sharing the Good News.
