Sunday Hymns - The Blood Will Never Lose It's Power

The blood that Jesus shed for me
Way back on Calvary
The blood that gives me strength
From day to day
It will never lose its power.

It reaches to the highest mountain
And it flows to the lowest valley
The blood that gives me strength
From day to day
It will never lose its power.

It soothes my doubts and calms my fears
And it dries all my tears
The blood that gives me strength
From day to day
It will never lose its power.

It reaches to the highest mountain
And it flows to the lowest valley
The blood that gives me strength
From day to day
It will never lose its power.

It reaches to the highest mountain
And it flows to the lowest valley
The blood that gives me strength
From day to day
It will never lose
It will never lose
It will never lose its power

  1. You selected a song, not a hymn, that was written by a young man that was at the time a known drug user. He may have gotten the words right but he surely was not able to put it into practice in the late 1970's.

    1. Thank you for stopping by and commenting. I chose this song out of my hymnal, and therefore called it a hymn. It clearly proclaims sacred truths about the blood that Jesus shed for us.
All of us are sinners in need of the Savior. I do not know the author of this hymn, but I pray he believes what he wrote in this song.
All of the hymns that I post are written by sinners. Thankfully, the Lord can use us unworthy vessels for His glory.

  2. Very well put Jessica! I'm so thankful for the blood of Jesus. I'm thankful for the opportunity to be able to say the name of Jesus boldly and out loud without the threat of being killed or imprisoned. I'm so unworthy but yet...

Your comments are such a blessing to me.

"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
